I have worked as a full time photographer since 1997, starting my career in the darkroom of the original London Features International, learning my trade and working my way up to photographing for the International agency UK Press.
It was here that I discovered a passion for photographing the Royal families of the World. I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph the Queen in her Golden Jubilee year, to tour the World with the then Prince Phillippe & Crown Princess Mathilde of Belgium and to photograph some wonderful events in Scandinavia with the Royal families of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. In 2003 I was nominated for Royal Photographer of the Year at the Picture Editors Guild Awards.
My time with UK Press came to an end and I began to syndicate my work through Splash News and Pictures in 2006. Since then I have continued to build on my archive of the British Royal Family at day to day engagements, as well as covering The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and embarking on Royal Tours.
I am very proud to have become the newest member of the Independent Photographers Association.
